Kangaroo
The kangaroo as our national icon. It is deeply interconnected in our landscape, culture, and ethos. Renowned globally, the kangaroo represents the country’s wildlife, resilience, distinctive character, and abundance of energy. As the feature on the national flag it would authentically (and easily) represent Australia’s spirit and uniqueness to the world.
Mascot – Our Kangaroo
We currently use our Mascot – The Kangaroo
• Qantas Airlines
• Our military
• Our Donations and aids on Boxes
• Our Supporters in Sporting events & more.
Our mascot is the final touch to our flags. When we fly them at the UN, the Olympics, or the Commonwealth games, everyone will know they belong to Australia.
Our flag hangs proudly on the pole, with the kangaroo gazing at the stars and the sky, where our destiny awaits.
A boomerang-shaped constellation of seven stars, each with seven points.
The kangaroo alongside a boomerang-shaped constellation of seven stars is a testament to Australia’s unity and diversity. The seven stars, each with seven points, represent the six states and one for all territories, symbolising the collective strength and unity of Australia. The boomerang shape signifies the enduring presence of Indigenous Australians across all states and territories, acknowledging their deep and caring connection for Country.
Slope Feature
Featuring a sloping line representing our position in the southern hemisphere, affectionately known as ‘downunder,’ this design follows the traditional canton encapsulates the essence of Australia’s identity and heritage.
